Alison S. Atlanta Site Director Notre Dame Mission Volunteers - AmeriCorps

“I invited Breauna to speak with my AmeriCorps cohort about responsible service practices. Everything she talked about was spot on to the lingering questions and challenges many of them were facing in their service. Not only was our workshop informative and thought-provoking, it was soul-searching. There is time for thought and reflection in a space that felt safe for volunteers to open up candidly with their thoughts and experiences. Our entire team, myself included, left our time so refreshed and reenergized with new perspectives on service! My team has commented since on how helpful her workshop was and it's one I plan to bring back every year!”

Angel Maldonado, Lead Pastor-The Path Church

“Hiring Breauna has been a game-changer! The impact of our church has multiplied thanks to Breauna’s work with our volunteers. She was able to accurately evaluate our current volunteer engagement model, use her creativity to enhance our strengths and help us change the things that were holding us back from reaching our full potential. Breauna worked seamlessly with the vision of our leadership team and won the hearts of our volunteers with her joy, passion and expertise. She also organized our volunteers, empowered volunteer team coordinators, and created systems that would allow for continued growth. Not only that, but she has provided the needed follow up to make sure that strategies are both successful and sustainable. I highly recommend her services.”

Alexsis S. Admissions Counselor, Agnes Scott College

As a recent college graduate, Connecting the Causes' Mission+Mimosas event was a perfect opportunity to build a community of empowering, passionate women and launch my professional career. From the event, I expanded my network, established a mentor, and learned how to both define and strategically utilize my passions and skills to serve the Atlanta community. So Worth Loving's warm and welcoming venue created a comfortable environment to grow and learn from each other. Overall, Breauna was an excellent host for Mission+Mimosas! It was evident she planned out each detail to a T and really put ample thought into making sure the activities would be valuable and engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in a Connecting the Cause event and can't wait to attend similar opportunities in the future!

As a board member of the Young Nonprofit Professional Network—Atlanta, I invited Breauna to speak at a professional development event for our members on strategic volunteering. What could have been a typical sit-and-listen evening seminar, in actuality became one of the most engaging, practical, and most talked about events we’ve hosted. Breauna is relatable in that she brings a combination of best practices, personal anecdotes, and resources to the conversation, truly meets clients and audiences where they’re at to generate the greatest impact.
Beyond that singular event, Breauna has been someone I’ve time and again relied on for guidance, insights, and especially inspiration. At once an expert and a genuine human being, it’s clear that civic engagement and volunteer management isn’t just a job but a core value that aligns to Breauna’s personal mission.

Malika W. Executive Director, ChopArt

Breauna created and executed a full domestic volunteer and intern program for ChopArt from 2015-2016. This program was built by Breauna to be sustainable and transferable across the many needs of the program. She created a needs assessment, built a recruitment strategy, and a work plan for incoming volunteers and interns. Breauna's attention to our needs and willingness to pursue the goals set relentlessly made all the difference. She was diligent in her action plan, flexible when she saw new opportunities and thorough in how she trained the volunteers and interns who could help implement and carry on the program. As a volunteer run organization, there's no way we could have accomplished serving the youth we served at the capacity in which we served them without the plan put forward by Breauna. A plan and program we still use at all levels of the organization! We are incredibly grateful.

"Breauna helped me prepare for my interview. Her knowledge and enthusiasm about volunteer management scratches the surface of her ability and dedication to her work in assisting other people. She broke down my strengths and aligned them with the job position. Her encouragement was inspiring for me and she helped give me the confidence I needed. I’ve always known Breauna as a leader and she's helped so many other people. She constantly strives for excellence and strives for the best for others.
